Police are urgently appealing for information to find a missing man from Prescot who was last seen at the weekend.


26-year-old Matthew Harrison was last seen in Wigan at 8am on Saturday morning. Matthew is originally from Eccleston, but has been living in Prescot. Information suggests that he may be in Scotland.


Matthew is white, 5ft 11in tall, of slim build, with short ginger hair, a short beard. When last seen, he was in a navy polo shirt and blue jeans.


He is believed to be driving a silver Ford Mondeo.


Anyone with information or who has seen Matthew is urged to call 101, message @MerPolCC or pass information via the charity Missing People on 116 000.
